Two killed in road mishaps in two districts

Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in two districts- Munshiganj and Natore, in two days.
MUNSHIGANJ: A nurse was killed in an accident on Sreenagar-Munshiganj road in Betka Chourasta area under Tongibari Upazila of the district on Monday morning.
Deceased Rowshan Ara, 52, was a nurse of Sreenagar Upazila Health Complex.
Locals said Rowshan Ara was travelling by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw. On the way, she received injuries on her head after being hit by a tin of a roadside shop in the
said area.
Locals rushed her to Munshiganj General Hospital where she was declared dead, said Pranay Manna Das, doctor of emergency unit at the hospital.
BARAIGRAM, NATORE: An elderly woman was killed in a road accident in Baraigram Upazila of the district on Sunday night.
Deceased Johura Begum, 62, was a resident of Mohishvanga Dakkhinpara Village in the upazila.
Bonpara Highway Police Station Sergeant Sarwar Alam said Johura was crossing the Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway at night. At that time, a microbus hit her, leaving her seriously injured.
Later, relatives rescued her from the spot but she died on way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
