ACC sues Shamim, Khaled

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two cases against the so-called Juba League leader GK Shamim and expelled Juba League leader Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan for their alleged accumulation of huge illegal wealth.
The cases were filed on Monday.
ACC's Public Relations Officer (PRO) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter and saying the Commission filed the case against Khaled for amassing about Tk 5.58 crore illegally.
Meanwhile, another case was filed against GK Shamim and his mother for amassing Tk 297 crore illegally, the official said.
Jubo League on September 20 expelled its Dhaka South Organising Secretary Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan.
