BFSA fines Sajna Restaurant in city

A mobile court of Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) on Sunday fined 'Sajna' restaurant Tk 3,00,000 in the capital's Banani area for keeping food items in an unhygienic condition.
A team of BFSA, led by its executive magistrate SM Shantunu Chowdhury, conducted a drive at the restaurant and found the date-expired food items in an unhygienic condition, said a press release.
Food Safety Inspector of Dhaka North City Corporation Mir Masum Ali with an Ansar force, were present, during the drive, the press release added.
