SAFF U15 Girls' ChampionshipIndia under-15 girls' national team had kept the title of the SAFF Under-15 Girls' Championship beating Bangladesh rivals by 5-3 margin in the tiebreaker after the stipulated time of the final match saw a goalless draw on Tuesday at the Changlimithang Stadium, Thimphu in Bhutan.
With this, Bangladesh clinched the runner-up title for the second time.
The match was paused for a few minutes in the second half due to loadshedding.
It was the third edition of the event and there was always a fight between Bangladesh and India for the title in all the finals.
In 2017, Bangladesh clinched the title beating India by 1-0 margin. In 2018, India secured the title beating Bangladesh by the same margin.

Interestingly, Bhutan was always the third placer while Nepal the fourth and sadly the fans missed the third and fourth placers this year since the place decider was not played this time.
