Social media--the modern means of communication in third world countries. This way of communication is very powerful and contains the thoughts, dreams, and efficiencies of individuals. Through the social media identity, one can be identified if he is progressive or non-progressive. The philosophy of life can be easily found in one's social media id.

Now the whole world is doing research on social media. There are allegations that the US President Donald Trump stole the information of voters and knew their likings and disliking. He manipulated the information and sent automatic message to each individuals according to voters' mentality, thoughts in election campaign to instigate to cast vote for him.
On the other hand, the people doing research on cybercrimes can easily speak of any individual by examining his/her social media account or site. They can find the involvements of the individuals with any international extremism network or any militant group. It is possible to dig out the details about an individual through his/her social media id.

A facebook page 'Basherkella'. The page is run by Jamaat and its student wing Shibir who are anti-liberation force of Bangladesh. If this site is banned or closed from Bangladesh, it gets activated from middle-eastern countries again by extremists. The individuals like this page and its content and involved with are 99% extremists, which I have known from working on researching the social media issue.

I spoke with people who like the social media page and found the proof. A propaganda and rumor was spread from this page that Rajakar Delwar Hossain Saidi's face was seen in the moon when the extremists, instigated by the rumor and propaganda vandalized in Bangladesh brutally. Most of the notable propaganda and rumor spread in Bangladesh were originated in that page Basherkella.

I have been speaking these stories, because social communication medium gives certificate to each individual about himself. A very common dialogue to the bloggers is 'It is very difficult to hide your tail.' That means the true nature or the inner character is hard to hide in social media. It is like some people cannot hide their colloquial tong. The very own tone of language comes out when he/she speaks out. In that way, both the progressive, extremist fails to hide their own identify.

Many activists of Gonojagoron Mancha (Mass Movement Platform) in 2013, used to feel proud to identify themselves as Blogger. Many people spoke that 'I am blogger.' When asked, activists of extremist group Hefajat Islam used to tell that he runs blog, or use internet or he stood at Shahabagh, where the movement originated in the capital of Bangladesh.

You are a murderer!

You are a murderer!

But surprisingly, when anti-liberation and non-progressive extremists tagged bloggers as Atheist (Nastik) and started to stab bloggers with plans, then none of the opportunists stood by the suppressed and tormented bloggers in the country. They never spoke in favor of any blogger as well.

When Bangladesh Awami League took the power through the tenth national parliamentary election, people started becoming members of Awami League. It can be said that they took the identity of ruling party abruptly. Now the idealistic followers of Bangabandhu, the Father of the Nation is everywhere. And they can tag anyone anything. They can identify me as one of JamaatShibir. And they tend to strike me or send me to Pakistan. Now every position holder in government institution or private organization seems to be an activist of Awami League.

The law violating bikers on footpath says, he is a member of Chhatra League which is also written in the motorbike. Sometime the opportunists identify themselves by telling them as one of Sangbadik League, Vai League, Police League, Sorkari League, Shikkhok League, Buddhijibi League or Doctor League etc.

When the daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Hasina was put on power again, for the third consecutive time, in the 11th national parliamentary election, everyone started to identify him/herself as one of ruling Awami League party. I am telling this because each individual discloses his/her identity through activities. One can be easily known whether his/she is of Awami League or anti Awami League or anti-liberation. Social media users describe well about themselves by expressing their philosophies and day to day activities.

Different groups of people now claiming that AbrarFahad, student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) was of Jamaat-Shibir, or follower of Awami League. On the other hand, some are claiming his father Barkatullah as a true follower of Awami League. The locals of Abrar's village would say, the whole family was the supporter of Awami League.

You will easily remember the deadly militant attack on foreign nationals at Holey Artisan restaurant on July 1, 2016 in Dhaka. One of the attackers was Nibras Islam, who was a student of North South University. Nibras was very similar to other students of NSU. He was football fan as well. But Nibras was changed dramatically. Did anybody guess that a militant was growing in Nibras. Two years earlier of the attack, Nibras wrote 'Farewell Forever' on his twitter account at 3:19am on November 2, 2014. But his social media, already kept the proof of a growing militant. Nibras used to express his happiness, sorrow, frustration, demands. Law enforcers found the proof of his communication with other militant groups through social media.

Some online activists and cyber researchers already made the Facebook status screeshots of BUET student Abrar in the social media. They also attached some screen shots images of Abrar's brother Abrar Fayaz with the post. Some gave logic by telling that why did Abrar Fayaz deactivate his Facebook account, if he is not militant? Some drew attention of the law enforcers. I myself also tried to understand the details. It was not possible to know detail from his Facebook account history. But a thing is very clear that, a clear footage of Abrar's killing incident was released from militant's page 'Basherkella' before the main stream media in Bangladesh. That was made viral.

Another destructive information is that the first information was made viral on social media was everything against the leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL). Every detail of all BCL leaders and their parents' histories with their backgrounds were released.

But one thing cannot be ignored that Shibir men were involved with Chhatra League. It is approved through some faces those were posted on important posts. For example, Natore's Singra Municipality Jamaat Islami Amir Rowshan Ali's son Khali Hasan was made upazila Chhatra League president. Leader of Freedom Party, Khalid Mahmud Bhuiyan was made Organizational Secretary of Dhaka South City Jubo League. GK Shamim was provided chance to stand beside the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with fake identity, even he was not of Jubo League's activist. Now the information made viral on social media then, provides proof that.

Certainly, we cannot expect the ideals of Bangabandhu, or the non-communal ideals of our independence from individuals of Chhatra League or Jubo League men who came from Chhatra Shibir or Freedom Party. Now they have gathered wealth and power and stood against Sheikh Hasina. They will try to make the situation unstable that is very simple. It is very simple that they will unethically and brutally kill people to demoralize the organization and destroy its acceptability.

So if Abrar Fahad is an extremist or a follower of Jamaat Shibir, you are a murderer. Who has given you the authority to kill him? The government holds that responsibility to punish a law defying man. Government will work on bringing him to light. Every mean creature has the rights to live. But who are you and which civilization, you are from that you are beating someone to death brutally.

I think, the students actively involved in students politics, who speak of the basic rights of student are accountable for this. This is the incapability and failure of students' leaders to fail to transform an extremist minded student into a progressive one. If someone releases false information on his social media platform, it is not acceptable to physically torture him or kill him but to publicize the true information. That is the responsibility of a patriotic politician.
