Coaching centre owner detained in Khulna

KHULNA, Oct 12: Law enforcement agencies, in a drive, arrested a medical officer of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) on Thursday for running a medical admission coaching centre in the city.
Arrested Dr Tarim alias Yunus Khan Tarim is the owner of 'Three Doctors Coaching', and also member of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and organising secretary of Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad (SWACHIP).
A team of law enforcement agencies led by executive magistrate of district administration Md Imran Khan raided the coaching centre on Thursday noon.
The team also seized CC TV camera footage, computer hard disks and various documents from the centre.
Magistrate Md Imran said Dr Tarim will be interrogated on leaking question papers for MBBS admission test.
Earlier, the government issued a ban on running coaching centres for medical admission across the country one month before the entry test.

To prevent crimes, including question paper leak, local administration will conduct regular drives, the magistrate added.
