Missing child handed over to family

Sirajganj, Oct 8 : Police here on Monday handed over a minor child who went missing on October 5, to his grandmother in Sadar Police Station in the district.
The rescued child was identified as Alim, 10, son of Abdur Rahim of Rupsha village in Kalukhali upazila of Rajbari district.   
Sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station Rezaul Islam said Alim went missing on Saturday morning from his house in Rupsha village.
Later in the evening, locals spotted the child walking around and crying in Koddar Mor area near the Bangabandhu Bridge and informed police.
The child could not say his parents' name and address so police published his picture in news media and social media which subsequently reached his family.    -UNB
