Consequences of sheltering Rohingyas

Published : Sunday, 22 September, 2019 at 12:00 AM  Count : 68

Dear Sir

Sheltering a huge number of Rohingya has become a problem for the country. Day by day, they are creating problems to the people of Bangladesh and its government. Moreover, it is not easy to support millions of refugees fulfilling their basic needs for a long time. Bangladesh has already spent a huge amount of money for their safety and settlement. Undoubtedly, it has a negative impact on the country's economy and affecting the citizens' life more or less. On the other hand, the involvement in criminal activities of Rohingyas is unexpected.
The conspiracy of some humanitarian organizations and NGO's attempt provoking the Rohingya to stay in the refugee camp permanently is really frustrating. NGO promoters must think and consider current situations beyond organizational profits. Moreover, non-governmental organizations along with governmental organizations should work together to repatriate the refugees safely.
It is needless to say that the Myanmar Government must grant them full citizenship. Let us convince the refugees to go back and contribute keeping the solidarity.
