MFS-bank collaboration a must for inclusive financing: Speakers
Bankers have to collaborate with mobile financial services (MFS) to face off challenges of business transformation towards implementation of digital finance.
Speakers said it while speaking at a seminar titled "Bank-FinTech Collaboration: A win-win Situation" organised by Bangladesh Journalists' Foundation for Consumers and Investors (BJFCI) at Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Sunday, said a press release.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun attended the seminar as the chief guest, while Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) Director General Zafar Wazed and Business Faculty Dean of the University of Dhaka Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam were present on the occasion special guests.
Editor of The Financial Herald Riaz Uddin Ahmed, President of Jatiya Press Club Saiful Islam and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of bKash Limited Kamal Quadir, Chief Corporate Affairs Head of bKash Major General (Retd) Sheikh Mohammad Monirul Islam and Managing Director of SureCash Shahadat Khan attended the function.
BJFCI Chairman Faruk Ahmed presented the keynote on this occasion.
