A little help can save Maliha’s life
ULIPUR, KURIGRAM, Sept 13: A little help can save life of Maliha, a child.
At the age of just four, a hole was detected in her heart. When she goes to play with other children, she has to remain aloof from them.
Due to lack of money for treating her disease, she is moving towards danger day by day.
Maliha was born to Manju Mia, a CNG auto-rickshaw driver, and Selina Akhter of Munshipara Village under Ward No. 6 of Ulipur Municipality. As she grew up, different physical problems started to appear in her.
After diagnosis recently, doctor said there is a 5 mm leakage in Maliha's heart. She needs surgery as soon as possible. The operation will cost about Tk 2 lakh.
But it is not possible for poor Manju Mia to provide the money. He maintains his family with his poor income by driving CNG for rent. However, Maliha's life is falling under risk day by day due to lack of treatment.
Manju Mia said, "We have already treated our daughter by borrowing money.
But we cannot provide this huge amount for her surgery. So I am requesting the rich of the society to help me for my daughter's treatment."
