Woman dies of dengue in Kushtia

A housewife died of dengue in Bheramara Upazila of Kushtia on Tuesday morning. 

The deceased was identified as Mina Khatun, 21, wife of Abu Raihan Ali, a resident of Kazihata village in the upazila. 

Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Nurul Amin said Mina was admitted to Bheramara Upazila Health Complex with dengue on Friday and died around 7.00am  today. 

Twelve new dengue patients have been hospitalised in last 24 hours till Tuesday while 52 people are undergoing treatment at different hospitals and clinics. 

A total of 800 people were diagnosed with dengue in the district since January.
