Sushmita Sen to judge Miss Universe Bangladesh
Bangladesh for the first time ever will take part in the 68th edition of the Miss Universe to be held in South Korea in December 2019.
Indian actress Sushmita Sen, also Miss Universe 1994, will be one of the judges at the grand finale of the Miss Universe Bangladesh.
Rizwan Bin Farouq, chairman of Miss Universe Bangladesh, on September 7 told a press conference that Bollywood star Sushmita Sen will be present at the grand finale of the beauty pageant as one of the judges and crown the winner.
Miss Universe Bangladesh is a franchise of Miss Universe, the largest beauty pageant contest in the world, which has been running for the past 67 years.
The winner of Miss Universe Bangladesh 2019 competition will participate in the Miss Universe which will be held in South Korea from 10 December, 2019, and the grand finale will be held on 19 December, 2019.
The grand finale of Miss Universe Bangladesh will be held on 23 October.
A total of 8,000 women from across the country have already registered themselves for participating in the contest.
The registration for Miss Universe Bangladesh will end on September 14. Unmarried women aged between 18 and 24 will be able to participate in the competition.
