Reconsider ‘time’ for giving pension to retired employees

Published : Sunday, 25 August, 2019 at 12:00 AM  Count : 94

Dear Sir

Considering the sufferings of the government employees who had surrendered 100 per cent pension, honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been kind enough to approve the proposals of the three pensioners' welfare associations and other benefits to the retired government employees who completed 15 years from the date of their retirement.

We the sufferers feel that after retirement 15 years is a long time. I would therefore earnestly request the honourable PM and concerned authorities to reconsider the decision and give pension and other benefits to the retired government employees who have surrendered 100 per cent pension and completed 10 years instead of fifteen years after retirement. For this act of kindness we will remain ever grateful to you.
