Minor boy slaughtered in Kishoreganj
A two-year-old boy was slaughtered over a land dispute in Austagram upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Md Wasim, son of Abdul Wadud, a resident Dalarkandi village in the upazila.
SM Azizul Haque, assistant superintendent of police (Austagram circle), confirmed the matter.
UNB adds: As a sequel to a land dispute, Abdur Razzak along with his sons carried out an attack on the house of Abdul Wadud and killed his minor boy around 8:30am as they found no one else in the house, said the ASP.
Soon after the incident, police arrested Razzak, Alkas Mia, Saiful, Srijon and Kawsar for their alleged involvement in the killing, he added.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Kishoreganj 250 Bed General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
