105 orphan girls get Eid gift

LALMONIRHAT, Aug 14: At least 105 orphan girls of Al-Nahian Shishu Paribar in the district were given new clothes and tailoring costs recently.
Superintendent of Police (SP) in Lalmonirhat S M Rashidul Haque distributed the gifts donated by district unit of Police Nari Kallyan (PUNAK).
Eighty of the beneficiaries got three pieces of cloths and 25 got two pieces of clothes. President of PUNAK Shammi Akhter said her organisation has been distributing new clothes among the ultra poor orphans every year.
Among others, Additional SP NM Nasiruddin, ASP Hasan Iqbal Chowdhury, Vice-Presidents of PUNAK Rumana Sharmin Akhter and Bushra Fatema were also present.
