Student dies of dengue in Pabna



A college student died of dengue fever at Pabna General Hospital on Tuesday night.

Assistant director of Pabna General Hospital Dr Ranjan Kumar Datta said, Musabbir Hossain Mahfuz 20, who passed HSC this year, was admitted to the hospital around 3pm with mosquito-borne disease dengue where he died at night.

He said, Musabbir was infected with the virus from Dhaka where he went for admission coaching.

Seventeen patients got admitted to the hospital with the virus from 8am on Tuesday to 8am on Wednesday, Ranjan Kumar added.
