Construction worker dies of dengue in Rajshahi


A construction worker died of mosquito-borne dengue fever at a hospital in Rajshahi on Monday afternoon.

Deceased Abdul Malek was a construction worker in Dhaka. He was the son of Golam Nabi, a resident of Baharam area in Sadar upazila of Chapainawabganj district.





Malek, who have been infected with dengue in Dhaka, was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) around 5:00 am. 

He was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after his condition deteriorated where he died, said Dr Saiful Ferdaus, deputy director of the hospital.
