Cricketer Soumya Sarkar's father infected with dengue
Bangladesh cricketer Soumya Sarkar's father former district education officer Kishori Mohan Sarkar has been infected with dengue.
He was diagnosed with dengue after his blood test at Satkhira Sadar Hospital on Monday morning, confirmed civil surgeon Dr Abu Shahin.
Initiative was taken from family to send him to Dhaka on emergency basis, Dr Abu Sahin added.
The civil surgeon said some 155 people have, so far, been diagnosed with dengue in Satkhira till Monday morning. Among them, 109 have returned home after treatment.
