Preo Bala Biswas alias Priya Saha whose highly divisive comment to President Donald Trump about Bangladesh mysteriously missed her scheduled flight to travel to the US for attending a State Department programme, Intelligence sources told the Daily Observer on Monday.
She missed her first flight to collect some 22 pages of documents about 37 million Hindu, Buddhist and Christian displaced from Bangladesh which was supplied to her by a man at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, the sources said.
After skipping the first flight, Priya Saha left Dhaka six hours later. She reached the Dhaka airport in her husband Molay Saha's official car. Moloy Saha is Deputy Director of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
Although it could not be known who the document supplying      man was, the Intelligence sources told this correspondent on Monday that they are trying to find out the man.
This syndicate also arranged the next flight ticket within six hours, the sources added.
She also mysteriously attended a programme at the White House on Thursday.  She was not designated to attend Bangladeshi delegation including people from Muslim, Hindu, Christian and Buddhist communities to talk about their experiences about religious freedom to the US president.
Priya Saha told the US President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday that 37 million Hindu, Buddhist and Christian people have disappeared from Bangladesh.
Rana Dashgupta, general secretary of Bangladesh Hindu-Bouddha-Christian Oikya Parishad, earlier told the media that he was not aware how Priya went to the US and reached Trump.
He said she was not among the three members who represented their platform at a ministerial meeting on advancing religious freedom hosted by the US Department of State.
Meanwhile, a vested quarter, like Priya Saha, is trying to tarnish the image of Bangladesh.
Priya said, "No, the Unity Council did not nominate me. The State Department of the USA invited me directly and brought me here. I have come here almost unexpectedly. Nobody in the Unity Council knew that I will be here."
Intelligences source said we need to know who were behind sending Priya Saha to meet Trump at the Oval Office. Priya Saha said she learned only 40 minutes before that she was going to the Oval Office.
A vested group might be behind Priya Saha who themselves wanted to tarnish the ruling party's secular image, the sources added.

"US Ambassador at large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback led us to the Oval Office. We were taken there under strict arrangements," she said in an interview.
