Bangladeshi peacekeeper dies in C Africa


A Bangladeshi peacekeeper was died from electrocution in Beleko area of Central African Republic on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Soinik Atiqul Islam, of Hatia upazila in Noakhali, according to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR).





Atiqul came in contact with a live electric wirewhile he was on duty in Beleko around 9:30am yesterday, the ISPR said.

Later, the deceased was sent to a hospital located in Bouar area where attending doctor declared him dead around 12:45pm (local time).
