UAEL declares 29pc final cash dividend

The Board of Directors of United Ashuganj Energy Limited (UAEL), a subsidiary of United Energy Limited (UEL), which is a subsidiary of United Power Generation and Distribution Company Limited (UPGDCL), has recommended final cash dividend of Tk 2.90 (29 per cent) per share of Tk 10.00 each involving Tk 116,13,01,813.00 for the year 2018-19.
In total, Tk 3.875 (38.75 per cent) per share aggregating to Tk 155,17,39,491.00 were declared during the year 2018-19 including interim dividend of Tk 0.975 (9.75 per cent) per share equivalent to Tk 39,04,37,678.00.
Phoenix Ins disburses cash dividend
Phoenix Insurance Company Limited (Phoenix Ins) has disbursed the cash dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on December 31, 2018 to their respective bank accounts through Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN) system.
Some portion of the company's cash dividend has not been transferred to shareholders whose bank account are not found in order of the BO ID, their cash dividend will be sent later on by warrant.
The cash dividend of the folio shareholders are sending through courier service by warrant.
Cos to hold board meeting
Delta Life: Delta Life Insurance Company Limited (Delta Life) has called for its board meeting at the company's head office in the city at 3:30pm on July 24.
The company's board members will consider, among others, its un-audited financial statements for the Second Quarter (Q2) period that concluded on June 30, 2019 in the meeting.

Marico BD: Marico Bangladesh Limited (Marico BD) has called for its board meeting at the company's head office in the city at 4:00pm on July 24.
The company's board members will consider, among others, its audited financial statements for the First Quarter (Q1) period that ended on June 30, 2019 in the meeting.
Cos withdraw authorised reps
ADH: AD Holdings and Securities Limited (ADH) -- DSE TREC No. 213 -- has withdrawn two of its authorised representatives, Kazi Jahid Hasan and Md Saiful Islam, with immediate effect.
TSL: Times Securities Limited (TSL) -- DSE TREC No. 166 -- has withdrawn one of its authorised representatives, Mohammad Saifuddin, with immediate effect.
