Malaysia labour market open by August: Minister
Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed on Saturday said Malaysia labour market will open by next August and appointing new workers start too there.
The minister said Bangladesh has talked with the country to this regard. Work of first phase also ended, he added.
Minister Imran made the disclosure replying to a question from journalist after paying tribute at father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's grave at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
About going abroad illegally, he said, "My first task will be to catch them (brokers) who send people abroad illegally. I do not want any person of our country dies in bid to go to foreign countries illicitly."
Mentioning this killing instead of death, the minister called upon all to move forward to stay aware about the brokers and hand over them to law enforcers.
