Envoy Tex to issue 5-year preference shares

The Board of Directors of Envoy Textiles Limited (Envoy Tex) has decided to issue and offer 87,000,000 preference shares for 5 years at face value of Tk 10.00 each at par for a total amount of Tk 870.00 million through private placement to the potential investors, subject to the approval of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) for capital investment in BMRE and for settle up the existing high cost debt.
The said preference shares shall be fully redeemable cumulative non-convertible within 5 years and to be redeemed the principal amount by yearly equal installments commencing from the first-year end from the date of subscription.
The company's dividend wil1bc paid semi-annually in arrear basis at a fixed rate.
Cos disburse cash dividend
IBBL: Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has disbursed the cash dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on December 31, 2018 to their respective bank accounts through Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN) system.
Continental Ins: Continental Insurance Limited (Continental Ins) has disbursed the cash dividend warrants for its shareholders for the year that ended on December 31, 2018 to their respective addresses through courier service.
Buy intention of Eastland Ins shares
ASM Quasem, public director of Eastland Insurance Company Limited (Eastland Ins), will buy 1,00,000 shares of the company at prevailing market price (In the Public Market) through stock exchange (DSE) within next 30 working days.
