None passes in 41 institutions
Students of 41 schools and madrasas failed to come out successful in this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations.
Meanwhile, a total of 909 institutions have achieved 100 per cent pass rate this year which is more than double than the previous year. The number was 400 in 2018.
Education Minister Dipu Moni the chairmen of all education boards handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10am on Wednesday at Gono Bhaban.
Around 47,286 students achieved GPA-5 this year, compared to 29,262 in 2018.
A total of 13,36,629 examinees appeared in the examinations began on April 1.
