Stocks bounce back after fall on 7 consecutive days

After fall on seven consecutive days, indices at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) bounced back on the third trading day of the week on Tuesday while turnover declined.

On the premier bourse, turnover, an important indicator of the market, declined to stand at Tk 271.76 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 5,124 points increasing 32 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached 1,175 points rising 9 point.

The DS30 index rose 11 points to stand at 1,829 points.

Of the issues traded today, 222 advanced, 94 declined and 36 remained unchanged.





Selective Category Index - CSCX of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) increased 85 points to stand at 15,705 points.
