Cattle farm owner killed in Bogura

BOGURA, July 12: Miscreants allegedly chopped a cattle farm owner to death over extortion and previous enmity at Borochandai Village under Khotra Para Union in Shahjahanpur Upazila of the district on Thursday night.
Deceased Jabbarul, 26, was the son of late Abdul Kuddus of the village.
Locals said Jabbarul was preparing to sell cattle during next Eid-ul-Azha. An influential corner was demanding money to him.
On Thursday night, some people called him out of home. Later, they chopped him with sharp weapons and fled the scene.
He was rushed to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead.
Officer-in-Charge of Shahjahanpur Police Station Muhammad Azim confirmed the incident.
