World Cup 2019
Rashid’s double blows bring Australia back in troubled waters
England enjoyed a sensational start with the ball as reigning champions Australia suffered a dramatic collapse in their World Cup semi-final at Edgbaston on Thursday.
Adil Rashid dismissed Alex Carey and Marcus Stoinis in the same over. Australia are in trouble after losing half their side.
Steve Smith, who has scored his half century, is in the middle with Glenn Maxwell as Aussie look to bring themselves back into strong position. The defending champions found themselves in a spot of bother earlier before with England pacers dismissed David Warner, skipper Aaron Finch and Peter Handscomb cheaply.
Australia won the toss and elected to bat first against England.
