DSE indices hit 2 months low
Indices at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed two months low on the fourth trading day of the week on Wednesday.
On the premier bourse, turnover, an important indicator of the market, also saw fall. It decreased to stand at Tk 408.88 crore.
The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 5,230 points decreasing 49 points which was 5,196 on May 15.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached 1,198 points declining 9 point.
The DS30 index lessened 14 points to stand at 1,860 points.
Of the issues traded today, 51 advanced, 279 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
Selective Category Index - CSCX of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) declined 169 points to stand at 16,030 points.
