Toddler killed in Savar wall collapse

A toddler was killed and four others were injured in a wall collapse at Kathgara in Ashulia, on the outskirts of the capital on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Tasim Hossain, the one and a half year old son of Nazmul Hossain of the area.
Jahangir Alam, senior station officer of Ashulia DEPZ Fire Service Control room, said a fire broke out from the gas stove of a house on the ground floor of the building in the morning due to gas leakage.
An explosion followed and a part of the wall collapsed, killing the boy on the spot and injuring four others. The injured - Abul Kalam, Dipu Mia, Moushumi Akter and Mim - were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.    -UNB
