BCL leader found hanging

Police recovered the hanging body of a Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader from his in-laws' house at Gazipur village of Benapole on Monday night.
Deceased Rabiul Islam Sumon, 25, was the joint secretary of Benapole municipality unit BCL. He was the son of Abdul Mannan, a resident of Durgapur village in Sharsha upazila.
Benapole Port Police Station OC Alamgir Hossain said Sumon went to his in-laws' house on Monday morning.
Around 10pm, family was informed that Sumon committed suicide by hanging himself.
Being informed, a police team rushed to the scene and recovered the body.
Meanwhile, the victim's father alleged that Sumon, who had been at loggerheads with his in-laws, was killed in a planned way and, later, his body was hanged to make it appear that he committed suicide.
