Bangladesh has strongly condemned the attack on Abha International Airport of the Saudi Arabia by the Houthis, Foreign Ministry sources say.
A Syrian civilian was
killed and 21 people were injured when Abha airport was struck by Yemen's rebel Houthis on Sunday evening, media report said.
"We're concerned that such unprovoked acts undermine the security of the Kingdom and tend to adversely impact the peace and stability in the region," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday condemning the attack that took place on June 23.
Expressing sincere sympathy to the innocent victims of this attack, Bangladesh expresses its solidarity with Saudi Arabia against any threat to its security and remains steadfastly committed towards regional efforts for maintenance of peace and stability, the Ministry said.
