2 found dead in two dists
Two men were found dead in two districts- Mymensingh and Feni, in two days.
GAFFARGAON, MYMENSINGH: A team of police of Pagla Police Station (PS) have recovered the body of an unidentified man from Joydharkhali Village under Pithal Union of the upazila on Monday morning.
The locals spotted the body beside Gaffargaon-Gayeshpur Road in the said area, informed the police.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pagla PS Md Sahinuzzaman Khan.
Police suspect that the criminals might have strangled the man to death and dumped the body beside the road, the OC added.
FENI: Police recovered a body after he went missing for three days from a field at Chhagolnaiya Village under Chhagalnaiya Municipality of the district on Sunday noon.
The deceased was identified as Jahangir Alam, 38, son of Aman Ullah, and a farmer.
According to police and family sources, on Thursday at 11pm, Jahangir Alam went to bring cattle back home from the field. Since the family did not get any update of him till the afternoon, his family members and the relatives started looking for him.
On Sunday, local people found the body on the field when they went for their work.
On information, members of police of Chhagalnaiya PS recovered the body and sent it to Feni Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy. The deceased's father Aman Ullah said that he had no feud with anyone of the village.
Locals are assuming that he might have died of heart attack or bitten by snake.
Chhagalnaiya PS OC Md Mezbah Uddin Ahmed confirmed the news.
The OC said that the body was sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
