Taj Mahal entry fee has now been revised as per your tour timing. According to reports, those who would like to spend more than three hours at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, will have to pay an additional fee. The three-hour time limit for Taj Mahal has already been implemented at the site's location in Agra.
Taj Mahal, Agra, is one of the most important monuments in India, and is celebrated around the world. Along with the time limit and additional fee, turnstile gates have also been added in order to prevent unauthorised entry. A total of seven turnstile gates have been installed at the East, and West entry points. From now on, your entry will only be possible with a token that is valid for three hours. If it exceeds, you are required to pay extra at the exit gates.
Last December the Taj Mahal increased entry fee with an additional INR 200. This has made visiting fee for Indians INR 250, and visiting fee for foreigners to INR 1300, if they want to visit the main mausoleum. You can also buy a ticket for INR 50, but you will be unable to visit the main mausoleum.
