Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and sent Australia to bat first in the 17th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup at Taunton on Wednesday.
The match starts at 3:30pm (Bangladesh time).
Shaheen Afridi was included in Pakistan's playing XI and Shadab Khan excluded while Australia included Shaun Marsh and Kane Richardson in place of Marcus Stoinis (injury) and Adam Zampa.
Pakistan players will wear black bands today in honour of one of their Test umpires Akhtar Sarfraz who has passed away, said captain Sarfaraz Ahmed at the toss.
Akhtar Sarfraz passed away on Tuesday. He played 4 ODIs for Pakistan in the 1997-98 season and later became an international umpire, officiating in 12 Test matches. He was 43.
Australia face an unpredictable team today to regain their position on the points table after defeat to arch-rival India in the last game.
Pakistan conceded defeat to West Indies in their first match in the World Cup but in the second one they hit a large score against the top favourite England and secured victory over it.
