Man killed in road crash in Mirpur

A man was killed after a private car dashed him to the ground in Dhaka's Mirpur area on Sunday.
Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp, told the Daily Observer  the deceased was identified as Mohammad Amin, 30, a resident of Baunia Dam area of the capital's Pallabi.
The speeding car hit Amin when he was crossing a road in Jute Patti area of Mirpur-10 around 11:30am, leaving him injured critically, DMCH source said.
He was taken to the DMCH where the doctors declared him dead.
