Popular Life declares 40pc cash dividend
The Board of Directors of Popular Life Insurance Company Limited (Popular Life) has recommended 40 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on December 31, 2018.
The Popular Life's annual general meeting (AGM) will be held at 12:00 noon on July 15, 2019 at Hotel Purbani International Limited in the city's Dilkusha C/A.
The company's record date for the AGM is on June 12, 2019.
The company has also reported EPS of Tk 4.55, NAV per share of Tk 68.29 and NOCFPS of Tk (132.72) for the same year as against Tk 4.27, Tk 80.52 and Tk (51.17) respectively for the same period of the previous year.
Bay Leasing to give 10pc cash dividendThe Board of Directors of Bay Leasing & Investment Limited (Bay Leasing) has recommended 10 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year that ended on December 31, 2018.
The Bay Leasing's annual general meeting (AGM) will be held at 11:00am on June 30, 2019 at Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) in the city's Kakrail area.
The company's record date for the AGM is on June 13, 2019.
The company has also reported Consolidated EPS of Tk 1.60, Consolidated NAV per share of Tk 19.43 and Consolidated NOCFPS of Tk 4.48 for the same year as against Tk 1.18 (restated), Tk 19.00 (restated) and Tk 0.20 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
Co shares’ trading to remain suspended today
Trading of the following companies' shares will remain suspended on its record date today (May 20, 2019).
The companies are Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Limited, EXIM Bank Limited, Uttara Bank Limited and Phoenix Insurance Company Limited.
Trading of their shares will resume tomorrow (May 21, 2019) after suspension of record date.
Trading of co sharesTrading of the following companies' shares will be allowed only in the Spot Market and Block transactions will also be settled as per Spot settlement cycle with cum benefit from today (May 20) to tomorrow (May 21, 2019).
The companies are United Commercial Bank Limited, Trust Bank Limited, Standard Insurance Limited, Social Islami Bank Limited, Mercantile Insurance Company Limited, Federal Insurance Company Limited, Continental Insurance Limited and Asia Pacific General Insurance Company Limited.
