Bullet-hit youth dies

MUNSHIGANJ, 17 May: A young man, who received bullet in an attack by rivals in Munshiganj, succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Arman Mufti, 20, son of Jasim Mufti of Ismani Char Village of Gazaria Upazila of the district.
Arman was shot when his rivals attacked him following a feud over trading of Shipyard scraps at Ismani char in Gazaria Upazila on Monday morning. Later, critically injured Arman was taken to the DMCH where he died at around 10:30pm on Thursday.
The father of the deceased filed a case against 36 people with Gazaria Police Station (PS) in this connection.
Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Gazaria PS Hafizur Rahman confirmed the news and said they arrested 12 accused in this connection.
