CNG driver killed at Kendua

NETROKONA, May 17: A CNG driver was stabbed to death for asking his due money in Alampur Village of Maska Union under Kendua Upazila on Wednesday night.
Deceased Zubaer Alam Hasan, 25, was the son of Ruhul Amin Bangali of Alampur Village of the same district.
Local and police sources said Zubaer Alam Hasan, son of Abul Kalam Azad of the same village, borrowed some money from the victim. But a dispute aroused when the victim asked his money back. Following this, Hasan was attacked by the rival party men when he was coming to his house. Hearing his scream, father, mother and uncle of the victim came out and tried to save him, but the rivals also stabbed them, leaving them injured.
Later, locals rescued the injured and rushed them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, where on-duty doctor declared the driver dead. However, the others injured are taking treatment.
