Market monitoring on in Kishoreganj
KISHOREGANJ, May 15: Market monitoring by district administration, police and Consumers' Association of Bangladesh (CAB) is on since the beginning of this Holy Ramadan in the district.
Issues such as adulterated and expired products, additional prices, price lists, food standards, formalin etc. were monitored in the market.
At that time, rotten fruits and dates were seized from the fruit market. Besides, sweet shops and restaurants have been warned of cleaning.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Sarwar Murshed Chowhdury and Police Super Md Mashrukur Rahman Khaled, BPM (Bar) conducted the drive.
Among others, Additional District Magistrate Md Habibur Rahman, Kishoreganj Municipality Mayor Md Parvez Miah, Consumer Rights Assistant Director Md Ibrahim, District Mahila Awami League Joint Convener Bilkis Begum, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, Boro Bazaar Merchant Association President Md Kamrul Islam and others were also present.
