A Bangladeshi expatriate in Malaysia was hacked to death allegedly his wife and others at Benapole in Jashore on Wednesday morning.

Deceased Jamal Hossain, 36, was the son of Habibar Rahman, a resident of Dhanyakhola village under Benapole Port Police Station area, said OC Alamgir Hossain.

The deceased's father alleged that his daughter-in-law Ayesha in association with her alleged lover, and her parents killed Jamal in his house around 3:00am.  

Police, however, detained late Jamal’s wife Ayesha Khatun, in-laws Riazul Islam Tuku and Phulburi for their alleged involvement in the murder.

The body was sent to Jashore General Hospital morgue, OC Alamgir Hossain added.
