JS session begins today

The second session of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) will begin at 5:00 pm today (Wednesday).
President Abdul Hamid on April 3 summoned the session in line with the power entrusted to him as per the Clause (1) of Article 72 of the Constitution.
In the second session, a bill to increase the age threshold for getting government jobs will be placed in the Parliament by Rashed Khan Menon, a lawmaker from Dhaka-8 constituency.
In the bill, he will propose to set the age threshold at 35 years for getting government jobs and at 62 years for retirement.
Rashed Khan Menon has already submitted the bill to the Law Section-2 of the Jatiya Sangsad.
