Huawei Beijing welcomes Bangladeshi ICT talents

Top 10 Bangladeshi students, selected through Huawei’s flagship CSR program “”Seeds for the future 2019” are in China for training and study trip.
The students have been welcomed in Beijing opening ceremony at the Huawei Executive Briefing Centre.
Bangladesh Ambassador in China M Fazlul Karim was the Chief Guest in the programme, said a press release.
Md. Mahfuzul Alam Khan, Commercial Counsellor of Bangladesh Embassy and Huawei high officials were also present.
Starting in 2008, the program has been implemented in 108 countries and international organization worldwide, benefiting over 30,000 students from more than 350 universities till now.
Extending his thanks to Huawei, Ambassador Fazlul Karim said, "Huawei is working in Bangladesh through continuous contribution and participation in the process of realizing Digital Bangladesh. They are working in close collaboration with the government of Bangladesh for two decades since 1998. This friendship has helped Bangladesh move faster towards the Vision 2021 project, which is bringing new opportunities for the youth talents."
The envoy expressed his hope that the program will get bigger momentum in future by involving more Bangladeshi students.
Zhang Zhengjun, CEO, Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd. congratulated the students for their success.
He said Huawei wants to push these young talents forward so that they become valuable industry forerunners.
Zhang Zhengjun said, "In future, we will continue our contribution to the digitalization process."
To cultivate more ICT Talents in any country and provide opportunity for students to learn ICT technologies and experience the Chinese culture, Huawei selects excellent students from noted universities every year.
