Bangladesh face off UAE in Bangamata Gold Cup opener

Bangladesh U-19 women’s football team will face off United Arab Emirates (UAE) in opening match of the inaugural Bangamata U-19 Women’s International Gold Cup Football scheduled to be held on Monday at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka.
The match kicks off at 6 pm.
On the following day on Tuesday (April 23), Tajikistan will play against Mongolia in the group A fixture. Bangladesh which pitted in group B of the tournament will play their second and last group match against Kyrgyzstan on April 24, BSS reports.
Tajikistan, Mongolia and Laos are drawn in group A while Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates and Kyrgyzstan are pitted in group B.
The semifinals of the prestigious tournament will be held on April 29 and 30 while the final is slated on May 3 after a two-day break.
Sports marketing company K-Sports has bought the rights for this edition of the tournament and will provide all the expenditures.
