Nusrat's classmate Shamim remanded

A Feni court on Thursday placed Md Shamim, arrested in madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi murder case, on a 5-day remand.
Senior Judicial magistrate Saraf Uddin Ahmed passed the order.
Earlier, Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) produced Shamim before the court seeking seven days' remand for questioning him.
Shamim, a classmate of Nusrat, was arrested from Charchandia village in Sonagazi upazila on Monday evening.
PBI has, so far, arrested 18 suspects of the case.
On April 6, Nusrat Jahan Rafi, an Aleem examinee from Sonagazi Fazil Madrasha, was set on fire allegedly by some fellows as she refused to withdraw a case filed against the madrasa principal for sexual harassment.
She died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday night (April 10).
