Bangladesh announces 17 names for Ireland tri-series
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) made public the 17 names on Tuesday for forthcoming tri-nation ODI series in Ireland adding-on West Indies.
Bangladesh kept all 15 World Cup combatants for the series but adding two more with them. Left arm orthodox spinner Nayeem Hasan, who represented Bangladesh in two Test matches, is about to round his arm with white ball while paceman Abu Jayed Rahi, the part of World Cup team, is also uncapped name for ODIs. But it's right hand off-spin all-rounder Yasir Ali, who never played for national side, is in waiting to get Tigers cap as a reward of shine in domestic cricket.
The three teams will engage among themselves twice earlier than reaching the final of the tournament, which is scheduled to play on May 17 at Malahide.
The curtain of the seven-match tournament will be opened with the match between Ireland and Windies on May 5 followed by Bangladesh versus Windies clash on May 7.
Men in red and green will take on Irish boys on May 9 for the first round match and May 15 for the second time. The rest two matches of Tigers will be held on May 11 and 15 respectively, where Ireland and Bangladesh will lock the horns against Windies.
Tigers will leave the country for Ireland on May 1.
