The Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University students formed a human chain and protested against the brutal attack by the BCL, where more than 70 students were seriously injured.

The collision between the two rival groups of BCL, SAU chapter, occurred on 9th April over a trifling matter.

The SAU BCL is divided into three main groups -- Mymensingh, South and North. The unit President belongs to south region and Secretary from Mymensingh region. But the north, which have most of the students, are deprived from the taste of power.

The committee of current BCL was expired 5 months ago. That night the students of north region attacked the Sher-e-Bangla Hall where secretary Mizan group of BCL took asylum. More than 10 activists were injured in the attack of north region students.
A student named Arif of Mymensingh region was seriously injured and admitted to the Neuro Science Institute Hospital.

The students of north region took sheltar at chatal for escaping from the attack of anti party of BCL. The BCL President SM Masudur Rahman Mitoo came there and requested them to return to the hall. The BCL of north region denied the request of BCL president and asked the president for withdrawal of the running Committee.

Then the president and secretary group workers drove the north region BCL to the Nazrul Hall. The students of north region then took shelter at the Hall.

Mymensingh and South region BCL boys mercilessly attacked the north region students. More than 50 students of north region were seriously injured by the attack of Mymensingh and South region BCL. Among them, Labib was badly injured being hit on the head.
