Bangladesh going to play a tri-nation ODI series accompanying the Windies and host Ireland in May 2019 just before the ICC World Cup 2019, which will be hosted by the England and Wales from May 30 to July 14.
The three-teams will engage among themselves twice earlier than reaching the final of the tournament, which is scheduled to play on May 17 at Malahide.
The curtain of the seven-match tournament will be opened with the match between Ireland and Windies on May 5 followed by Bangladesh versus Windies clash on May 7.
Tigers will take on Irish boys on May 9 in the first match and May 15 for the second time while they take on Windies for the second time on May 13.
As it was confirmed on the ICC website on Friday, top players including Andre Russell, Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmyer, Oshane Thomas, Nicholas Pooran, Evin Lewis and Carlos Brathwaite of Caribbean sides and Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh will be considered for selection to play the triangular only if their respective IPL teams fail to make it to the playoffs.
Shakib is the lone Bangladesh player to partake in the 11th IPL, who is now in India to represent defending champions Sun Risers Hyderabad outfit.
