BNP's central leader resigns

BNP's central vice-finance secretary Mohammad Shahab Uddin on Saturday resigned from his post, seeking termination from the party's all duties.

Mohammad Shahab, also vice-president of Dhaka North City unit BNP, submitted resignation letter to the party's Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Alamgir at  Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka, reports a Bangla online newspaper. 

In the letter, he wrote, "With sincerity and devotion, I have performed my duties which chairperson Khaleda Zia gave me. But it is not possible for me to continue my duties due to my physical and family grounds. That is why I request to relieve me from the party's all duties".
