HC asks to frame guideline for physicians' pvt practice
The High Court has asked the government to form an independent commission to formulate a guideline for the physicians regarding their private practices.

Responding to a writ petition filed by five Supreme Court lawyers, an HC bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader came up with the order on Tuesday.

At the same time, it issued a rule asking why the relevant law which allows the government doctors to do private practice should not be declared unconstitutional and illegal.

Earlier on February 4, five Supreme Court lawyers filed a writ petition seeking the HC directives to stop private practice of government doctors.
