BNP leader Dulu lands in jail

A court in Natore on Tuesday ordered to send BNP organising secretary and former deputy minister Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu to jail in a double murder case.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Natore Mamunur Rashid passed the order rejecting his bail petition.

Earlier, police produced the BNP leader before the court showing him arrested in the cases.

On January 1, 2015, two youths--Rakib and Raihan-- were killed in an attack in a rally at Tebaria area of Natore district town

Later, Rakib's brother Anjul filed the murder case.

Dulu was arrested from Dhaka on December 12, 2018.
